Hunter x Hunter (2011) Review

Characters
The characters are pretty good but I have a problem with hisoka :/ Personally I believe that Chrollo is one of the best characters but Meruem is the best written though I didn't like meruem as much as others. The main character Gon Freecs is also a pretty good character though idk bout the relations between him and kite, I know that kite did do a lot for him when he was at whale island but I didn't really get why gon got that fired up in the chimera ant arc (Yes I am sounding very dumb). Meruem and Komugis relationship is also interesting to watch but meh idk. Also Killuas pretty cool ig.
Plot
Now, Gons goal is to find his dad, I personally find that stupid as he literally left Gon but that's beside my main reason why I don't really like the plot as much as some other animes (It is still very good!!). This starts with the hunter exam arc which was actually pretty good and made sense as gon needs to first be a hunter (duh), now next there is killuas family thing which was kinda boring but did give a introduction and his family is important to the story line. Now heavens arena was Ok, as it was kinda boring but Ok, Gon needed to beat up hisoka for a very small reason but Ok, the fight was pretty cool other than hisoka doing his thing but yeah, it does make sense to get money because they have to go to york new. but 3.8/4th of heavens arena doesn't contribute to the main characters goal but I guess yeah it makes sense because they need to get greed island to supposedly will contribute to finding gon's dad. Not only did greed island not contribute AT ALL, and how yorknew built so much for greed island as they did so much for it, GING SPECIFICALLY SAID THAT IT WILL DO NOTHING FOR HIM IF HE WANTS TO FIND HIM AND HE CONTINUES TO GO INTO THE GAME. Ok, now it is Chimera Ant. It literally did nothing to the story and was a bit boring for me but I don't think it did much for the story other than transition into hunter chairman arc which I don't think was a solid way to get into ging. Although I will say 135 was kinda emotional and 131 was cool, so as some of the cast in the chimera ant arc (rip netero too). Hunter chairman also was a tennsy bit boring but good. Also kurapika literally said "im dippin" at the end of yorknew and didn't show up other than his kinda cameo thing in the last episode. I also think they really didn't give a good introduction into the hunter world in yorknew and others (other than chairman arc). Either way I found the plot weird but It was still impressive as togashi wrote it very well and was honestly not bad at all im just picky.
Music
Not much to say here but I really like the OST and how they changed the OST every arc and in general was pretty good.
Conclusion
Hunter x Hunter was a pretty good anime, I Enjoyed it quite a bit but it had some flaws and was boring at times. Hunter x Hunter would be a 8.6/10 for me. Feel free to dislike everybody has opinions. Anyways Cya
