I went into the anime thinking it wasn't going to be that good. All I have ever heard about Fairy Tail was, "It's TERRIBLE!" This is just not true. Fairy Tail has sky rocked up in my top 5 and is basically about to be my favorite anime at the time. It boosted my spirits while I was watching the anime.
It is an anime where you get more stronger based on your emotions to help out your friends. The sound track is amazing and is or one of the best for all anime's I've ever watched (I got over 80+ days of anime watched). Just an amazing spirit boosting anime. Will bring a smile to your face for sure.
The characters are amazing and the long story line was also great. I know for most of the anime it was just thought of on the week; however, I know that the backstories for the characters were already made before hand. Natsu is funny and is the main character, You will feel like you can be like Natsu and help out everyone around you. Pushing towards your goals of trying to help your friends and help out everyone in Fairy Tail is what Natsu mainly went for. Another main character is Lucy which is a female character. Lucy's personality is funny and you will come to enjoy it. She can call "spirits" from another world to fight for her. Lucy has a good relationship with almost all the "spirits" she calls. The "spirits" she calls is called Celestial Spirit, they have a mind and body. Each one represents something. I also like how the anime has all these small, little cute characters. Like Plue for example (like a dog snowman looking thing). The personality traits of most of the characters are different and unique, some I have never seen in multiple anime's. Like a character called Gray and he likes to take off his cloths. In some later episodes you learn the reason why he does it. Most characters have reasons behind there traits.
The storyline in Fairy Tail is Natsu and Lucy getting stronger with the rest of the Fairy Tail Guild helping out everyone across the land. Some unexpecting things happened that I never even expected that would happen in the show. My attention just keeps getting grabbed and grabbed again to the point I started to keep watching Fairy Tail and just couldn't stop.
Once I started to say I like the anime and say people should ignore what others say about it, until they watch a couple episodes themselves. They enjoyed it and I've found that there are people who like Fairy Tail. When I went into Fairy Tail I knew no one who liked it, I just wanted to watch an anime with 150+ episodes. For most people starting off they most likely won't watch an anime that has hate unless someone gets you to watch the anime like Fairy Tail for example, so I'm trying to say that Fairy Tail is worth your time to start and is a great anime. You will feel more proud watching the anime!
I always have "Aye Sir" stuck in my head and I don't even hate that I have it stuck in my head!
