Time travel has been a concept used by Sci-fi stories for the longest time. But it is one of the hardest concepts for authors to tackle. A good time travel story requires the author to pay painstaking attention to details and use lots of creativity. Steins;gate is exactly that and better.

Steins;gate has been on my watch list for a while and I was hype to watch it. I came in with high expectations for this show because it is the NUMBER 2 highest rated show in the anime community, after Full Metal Alchemist. And boy I was not disappointed and I guarantee you won’t either.

Story: 9/10 (Great)
The story is pogchamp! For those of you who heard of Steins;gate might also hear that it is very confusing. I can ensure you it is NOT a show that is confusing if your IQ is below average. The first few episodes are confusing but keep going because everything will make sense. I have some friends who do complain about the beginning is a bit slow, but please make it through because it ramps up fast and you will be in for a thrilling ride.

Steins;gate is a show filled with your classic tropes done to perfection. These characters are hilarious and they are also very approachable. Not even halfway through the series, I fell in love with them. I have to give a shout-out to Kurisu, one of the best tsundere I saw, top tier! Even though I don’t really like tsundere (in fact I don’t like Kaguya from Love is War at all), Kurisu manages to find her way to my heart. Anyways, the series went in-depth into the development of the characters; however, not everyone. Some side characters were sort of left out and would have been better if further developed.

Art & Music: 6/10 (Fine)
WhiteFox really does be lacking in the animation, but it is not terrible. Compared to its recent work, Re:zero, steins;gate does look worst in turns of both animation quality and character design. These characters might look weird to you at first, but don’t worry about it. In fact, it can definitely grew on you!

Steins;gate has a banger OST! The opening and endings are above average for sure.

Enjoyment: 10/10 (Masterpiece)
Steins;gate is really entertaining, it keeps you invested and in your seat. If you want to watch a good show, don’t look further. It is right here. When you watch steins;gate, I can put 100 dollars on the bet, time will go by faster. It is a show that makes you truly sad that there aren’t more.
