I started looking for this anime again because I was shown the beginning of Episode 1 awhile ago. It was really funny so I found it and watched the anime. Sadly, though, the show pretty much goes down from Episode 1.
Konosuba is a cute little show, full of silly antics, with almost no depth though. There's nothing like violence, darkness, or sexual themes (until Episode 8, with the sexuality) in the show.

About the characters (they're all idiots in the funniest way):
Megumin is a young loli archmage and a Crimson Demon. She has great respect for "Explosion Magic" and teaches its greatness to others.
She is quite powerful with it. When Kazuma complains about his 3 other party members, his only complaint against her is that she can only use her magic once a day. He can't
say anything against the power of her explosion.
Out of all the characters, she seems to be one of the best written. Childish and fun.
Aqua is a playful goddess. She's a pretty cool character at the beginning, but then there are scenes of her being incredibly self-centered, shallow, and annoying. Money is her main goal, and so is the honor she feels is due (she fails to be recognized as a goddess, though, and goes into lethargy at one point, forgetting she actually is one).

Personally, I've seen other characters from external sources that I think are better-written versions of Aqua.
Kazuma himself is pretty shallow for a main character. He does act like a Dad to the others at times, which is pretty funny. His voice tone in general is half-mocking, as if he takes nothing too seriously.

When the 'useless people' of the 'useless world' he's transported to try to make things harder on him for their personal advantage, he defends himself pretty well, using their own rules against them. Because of his methods, they often label him a pervert, when he actually isn't. Until you see what he's like in Episode 8. That ruined it for me, it was- really made it just worse. He gets no consequences for acting like that either, and he doesn't change.
To quote a good friend of mine:
"So a team of pervert, useless loli, cute imbeciles and a perverted dumbass ruling all?"
"he was the worst mc I've ever seen. Just why..?"
"He didn’t even had a gram of character developmentttt"
And then there's Darkness. A perverted knight character. Her positive side is that she's at least trying. She will sacrifice herself for others. And the show is better with her.

It's actually really funny, when Darkness accuses the Dullahan of perversion over and over again, with no grounds for it. He is really flustered, and you learn later that he is exactly what she accuses him of.
The Season also introduces Mitsurugi.
There's also a thief character, Chris, who seemed pretty cool, but she wasn't shown alot.

Best Scenes:
The conclusion of Season 1 is honestly not outstanding. It does set up a starting point for Season 2.
The art style is interesting. I like it. The opening and ending themselves aren't outstanding, but they're enjoyable.
The website is ok and the mobile game's pretty good honestly.
