I gave 1 star for the animation and the soundtrack. The plot is very bad. There is no development in characters. The heroine is so selfish, ignorant and has bad manner. She sacrificed her whole world, people in the village, her family, literally everything for just a boy that she fell in love with (to whom she never has talked). Agree that he died for saving her. But is it really no other way to make things better without affecting other lives?? She is ignorant to knowledge and the rule of give-and-take, which is fundamental to be a decent human. She agreed to share half of her life span for him, without questioning what will come after that.

She just wanted to satisfy her sense of guilt and her selfish love regardless of any consequences. Because of her action, which has gone against the circle of life, nature has raged against her whole village ( which is a whole world), messed up the seasons and caused a deadly deluge upon her village. Without any conscious of what she has done, she easily turned her back against her village and fought with her mother. There was no communication, sharing, whatsoever between her and others.

Her world is just her and the fish alone, she doesn’t care about anything else. And the way she refused and being cold with Qiu, her childhood friend, her saver, who was always by her side projecting her, talked to her, believed in her, and foremost, sacrificed his life for her, was unbelievably annoying and disappointing. You know nothing, girl! Why have things gone so smoothly for you? Why can you still fooling around with your fish when the village is in danger? Why are you still alive? Everything is right before your eyes but how can you be so ignorant and selfish to realize it? How selfish can you be when even you has known how much Qiu has sacrificed but still didn’t express any gratitude, not even a thank for him? All you do is cry and cry and dependent on people. What can you do then ?? It really gets on my nerves. Never hate a character this much.

Plot: messy, so background of the characters. Like all of the sudden Qiu went to all pf his length for Chun, the heroin, without any explanation about their relationship. And as above, the plot irritated me. I literally felt worse, angry and stressful after watching the movie. No message, nothing I can learn and reflect after the movie. Such a waste of time.

Character: as mentioned above, characters are built poorly, so characters development, injustice for good people and favor to bad character ( cause the bad characters got what they want and became a legend, while the real hero died for nothing, not even remembered).

Animation: the animation was fine.
