So like, it's a shoujo romance manga. I didn't expect it to completely wow me, but I still found it decently cute for what it is. It's nice, cute, and fluffy.

Plot
The story is about the main character, Suguri, someone who dislikes sweet treats ever since her bad experience with one when she was a child. She can't stomach any sweet foods. Her crush, Murakami shows the fact he dislikes having sweets handed to him at school. She then later finds out the her crush is actually obsessed with sweet treats! She decides to work at the bakery that he also works at to get closer to him. Some romance ensues, she's forced to eat some baked treats because of the fact she wants get closer to her crush.
Eventually, it's revealed that she actually doesn't like treats, to the dismay of Murakami. There's some drama, blah blah blah, she tells him that she wants to try getting used to sweet things because of him and they get together. It's cute. The plot is kind of unique, but cliche in the romance department. It's charming, but I didn't particularly like the main character. I found her a bit annoying to sit through, but she gets better later.
The characters aren't the most fleshed out in the world but I mean, it's about 3 chapters long, I can understand why they wouldn't be fully fleshed out. Characters are still nice though, the main characters family is pretty one note and her brothers are especially one note. The most I can say about them is that they like desserts? I don't really know, they're not the main focus anyway. The love interest I found to be a bit boring, he's a nice guy and would probably treat her right. He's kind of cute. But otherwise I don't have much to comment on about the characters in this manga.

Artstyle
The art is exactly what you would probably expect out of 90's shoujo. Lips galore. The artstyle looks weird at some points, expecially in the cover, but I found myself getting used to it while reading the story. It's charming, in a way. Despite that, it does have it's flaws. The eyes look especially wonky in some panels. The nose doesn't fit with the artstyle and the lips are sometimes too big for their own good. This can lead to some very wonky looking panels, but if you can get past that like I can it's fine. It doesn't happen too often but happens just often enough to make a point about it.

Other
It's cute, just don't expect much out of it. If you enjoy romance and baked treats, I guess you can try this. It's not necessarily must-read category but it's decently enjoyable. Somehow, I thought there were more people who have read this. Apparently not, but I guess I like obscure animanga. I mean, I liked Ramen Chai-Nyan. Anyways if you can find this on totally not illegal sites I wouldn't fully say to read, but if you like Shoujo, Romance, and food I guess it's another to add to the collection.
