Oh no... another isekai where the protagonist finds himself in a world where everything is based on magic and he obtains extraordinary powers? Well... yes but actually no.

The story begins with Leon Fou Bartfort intent on completing the path of an Otome, as a favour to his sister who wants to hear the ending of the game but has no desire to play it. What the protagonist does not know is that his experience with video games will prove important for his future. In fact, the boy loses his life shortly after leaving home, only to find himself inside the game world ~~(what a surprise)~~. Here, social roles are reversed, girls hold all the power, while men are in the background. The kingdom of Holfort thus proves to be less than kind to Leon, who, however, relishes the chance to lead a mob life: quiet and stress-free.
Helping him along his way will be his knowledge of the game that has just ended. Luckily for him, Leon immediately takes a shortcut, seizing a powerful ship named Luxion, which should have been found by the game's female protagonist in the original story.

The plot then flows towards the story arc related to the royal academy, with all the misadventures related to the social status of the main and side characters. This is where the initial premise collapses, namely Leon's desire not to be noticed. The young man will be involved, despite himself, in all the main events, becoming in his own way a new protagonist of the adventure. And setting himself against another character who was not originally present in the game, but who stole the leading role and is intervening heavily to change all the elements that made up the original game.
In the short span of his school life, he manages to make all his classmates hate him, except for Olivia and Angelica Rafua Redgrave, who will be the only people he can count on during his vicissitudes.

It is the plot and premise of the typical neighbourhood isekai, all that was missing was the character par excellence (track-kun) and it would have been the usual soup.
However, because there is a though, the story immediately departs from the usual: a character who does not want to stand out at all and spend his life quietly and blissfully away from the vicissitudes of the main story. This obviously does not happen, otherwise the plot would not go on for twelve episodes.
While the story is quite cute and enjoyable, on the other hand we find a jumble of... things. Magic, mecha, flying motorbikes and ships, firearms, monsters, artificial intelligence, you name it. It is also true that it is explained by the protagonist himself from the very first episode that the game itself is a jumble of elements that have nothing to do with each other. But it is precisely this jumble that makes it watchable for the simple fact that you never know what might appear in subsequent scenes.
Leon Fou Baltfault : he is the protagonist of the series. As previously mentioned after his death he reincarnated in the otome game world. He is the dullest protagonist one could ever have: black eyes and hair, average looks and a difficult character to like. He repeatedly displays his arrogance and superiority in front of his comrades, which is why he is hated by the masses, but he shows a more loving side towards Olivia and Angelica, for whom he is even willing to risk his life to save them.Olivia : the protagonist of the otome game; a very kind and gentle girl with a lack of self confidence. She is not a noble and for this reason the other students look down on her.
Angelica Rapha Redgrave : she was the main villainess of the otome game. In reality she becomes Olivia's best friend.[Luxion ](/character/161418 ): the character, or rather the AI, through which the story continues. Its main body is a giant black spaceship-like airship but to get around, Luxion takes on the appearance of a small metal ball with a single red lens.
Marie Fou Lafuan : is the false protagonist of the "second game". She comes off as a kind and shy young girl from the outside. In reality, she is a manipulative and selfish person. She has no problem manipulating others for her own gain.Admittedly, the characters are not the most memorable ever, and even their names do not help in remembering them, but on the whole they are a cast that works quite well.

The art is... particular. It is not ugly but it is not beautiful either. Perhaps the biggest flaw this anime has. Especially the character designs, the faces are flat compared to the rest of the designs.

The rest of the animations, on the other hand, are passable, especially the scenes with the mecha and the fights.

Again, more than acceptable. The opening is cute, catchy and, above all, suitable for the type of show it is: not too playful but not too serious either.
Even the ending can be listened to in its entirety more than willingly, even though the animations could have been better cared for.

A light and fun anime to watch, but if you are looking for a more sensible and interesting story then it might not be for you. It is the classic anime to watch when you don't know what to watch or to kill time.
An Isekai with few Isekai traits. One almost forgets that it is one.
Less fan service than expected (in fact, almost absent), which is very strange for its genre, but which earns it a few points, but not enough to get a great rating.
It certainly more than met my initial expectations.
