Wonder Egg Priority is a show which focused on mental health issues, particularly of teenage girls. The show had an interesting start, and the characters were fleshed out really well. There was some interesting plot points and many mysteries to unravel. But what happens if you don't tie up these loose ends? The Wonder Egg Priority Special is a great example of that.
Non-Spoiler Version:
The entire special is about 47 minutes long. This in itself is too short of a duration to end the plot. This is due to the addition of our "main villain" (who first appeared in ep 11 (anime is 12 eps long)). Despite the short duration, half of this special was a recap. So, with (approximately) 25 minutes of the episode left, we would expect them to quickly tie up the plot-points. No. Instead, what this anime does is create MORE plot. We get new mysteries in 20 minutes! Fun fact, our main villain only got like 2 minutes of screentime! Yipee! What about the characters? In episode 11, we had a fight between our (very depressed) girls. In this special, they are all having fun at karaoke! After this, one of the girls talks about how she wants to die--contradicting the themes of this anime.
Pros: Music, animation, voice-acting. That's about it.
Spoiler Version:
Skipping the recap, we get to see Koito come back. Big revelation is that Koito is a bitch and that she tried to falsely accuse Sawaki of rape, then she tripped and fell off the roof. A wonderful way to die, I suppose. Sawaki was pretty damn suspicious, but I guess he's nice now. I already felt pretty bored watching this at this point.
Rika, Momoe and Ai somehow made up and went to karaoke. They all talked about how the person they saved forgot all the stuff. Rika gets sad and wants to die. Rika and Ai cry together. I guess this part was mostly fanservice for the teenage girl audience. Instead of doing this they could've had Ai and Frill meet?
Neiru apparently saved her sister, Airu. Airu and Neiru were having a dispute, then Frill randomly showed up?? Frill and Neiru become friends.
Ai throws her phone off the balcony and cries in Mama Ohto's lap. She transfers and has no contact with anyone. Then she comes back and is like "Neiru wants to see me. I will see Neiru because I am Alpha Chad Ainator 3.0." And that's the ending.
Questions:
-What is Thanatos? Does Frill have a connection with it?
-Who are the Warriors of Eros? Is this egg stuff just a tryout for it?
-How does Frill have so much dominion over this egg world? Didn't Ura and Acca make it?
-Why did alternate realities have so much plot relevance in this show, so late?
-Why did Neiru go with Frill, despite wanting to see Ai?
There's plenty more questions, however I cannot think of them. There are so many plots to unravel.

Final:
Overall, big waste of potential and time. Just watch Evangelion, or some other shit, if you want psychological stuff about teenagers.
