It's a very cute romance, I really liked the first season.
The whole "developing feelings for someone else after liking someone for the longest time and moving on" is so refreshing to see and I'm happy that they handled it very maturely ( as mature as teenage romance can get).
The characters were very pleasant to read about (except for some but we will get there).
I like that the childhood friend wasn't a one dimensional asshole, but someone that genuinely wanted the best for his friend and was rooting for him the whole way.
I'll be honest I didn't enjoy the second season as much as I did the first, not because of the main couple ofc, they're adorable and I loved every second of screen-time that they had. I just wasn't too into the side couple. Both characters annoy me to no end and their romance not only felt tedious it also felt extremely forced, maybe because one of them was constantly forcing himself into the other.
Regardless, I have no complaints about the main couple, they were both so cute and their dynamic is surprisingly healthy. (for a BL)
As a soon to be senior, the last chapters hit me maybe a bit harder than they were intended to be, and I'm grateful that the author choose to showcase this topic in a more positive and hopeful light, it could be stressful at times but nothing too unbearable. I loved to see the couple support each other as they both matured and experienced new things, I think it made it feel a bit more realistic in a sense.
They tackle on some sensitive topics really well, specifically things like coming out and being raised in more conservative families.
Seung-won's moms were such a nice surprise, I was delighted to see more WLW representation, it's definitely something that this genre is lacking a lot, they were both so cute and I loved to see the parallels between them and the main couple.
However, I do feel like there were some things that were left unattended, for example Chang-Yeon's past.
I think there is definitely something suspicious about him, not only because this is a BL Manhwa but because the thing that they said at the start about him not being able to stay in relationships for a long time.
Maybe it's because I feel like back at the start the author had a very different plot planned and it just eventually moved on from that place and left some unanswered questions.
The other side characters might be not as memorable but they were certainly very fun to read about.
The whole cast feels strangely human and charismatic, there's not many characters I can say that I dislike and I think this story really nailed it with the school days vibes.
It feels nostalgic but not in an overwhelming way.
But yeah, definitely give it a read if you like romance manhwas I promise you won't regret it.
