Hello, I would like to share with you my feelings about the first season of JJK. To start with, a few rules. I try to take into account only the season in question. This is only my subjective opinion. This is a review after a long time after watching, so I am recalling what the episodes were about or listening to the music again before writing anything.
Music (I also take into account the visual layer)
The first opening is not in my musical style, although I like it. Rhythmic, nice music. Graphically we have the introduction of the characters, what is a plus is the mysteriousness and not giving everything away right away as is sometimes the case. The second opening is more beneath me sonically. Rhythmic, slightly specific rock. Graphically unchanged, the hint of mystery and unease continues. Moving on to the endings, I don't like the first one. The interesting idea of intentionally being ugly is ok, but the music is totally not my style. The second of the ending songs is great. Very emotional. I like the moment modelled on shooting everyday funny situations with my phone. This is by far my favourite part of the music in this anime.
The plot
The first few episodes were interesting. Getting to know the characters, how the world works, who the Wizard Jujutsu are and what the curses are. The initial situations with Sukuna were quite intriguing and interesting. It worked very well to show what pure evil he is. I liked the so early preparations under Arc from season two. I liked the introduction of Maki's team. The situations dedicated to Mahito and Junpei were average, because of Mahito. The fights between the schools were good, although at that point I only liked Todo from the other school. I liked the Zenin sisters' relationship and past extremely well. The best part for me was the fight between the two schools against the cursed spirits. I couldn't tear myself away from the screen then. The end of this situation with the sports match was pretty cool. The duel with the cursed wombs was average, although in the end we saw more Nobara.
Characters:
I make no secret of the fact that I have a bit of a problem with the characters. I couldn't really identify with or like anyone in comparison to other anime, but one by one. Megumi Fushiguro is pretty average for me. He didn't really stand out for me except for the interesting powers of his creatures he summoned. Yuji Itadori, a good character, but also nothing great. I liked him more and more as the series progressed. Nobara Kugisaki, there wasn't enough of her for me. I think she gets lost among the many interesting female characters in other anime. Gojo Satoru, I like his personality, but I don't like how he fights. Too often he's helped and killed enemies or hurt them enough that they become a minor threat. My favourite characters from the first season are Aoi Todo (interesting personality and gave good fights), Maki Zenin (she was okay and I like her gunfights). I hate Mahito, who is annoying and his power is a one-shot dos. Sukuna is average for me, not much I can say about him.
Graphics:
The anime graphically was wonderful. I don't remember any dips in form. Both the character models and the fights were wonderful. This is the main reason I like this anime so much.
Fights:
The biggest plus of the fights was their wonderful animation and dynamics. Here are a few that deserve a mention. Satoru Gojo vs. Jogo, Kento Nanami vs. Mahito, Yuji & Aoi vs. Hanami
Pleasure to watch:
I found JJK extremely enjoyable to watch. There were no episodes or scenes that spoiled my perception of the series immensely. There were no rapes or other scenes that were completely disgusting and made me unwilling to watch the whole series afterwards, which is sometimes the case with me.
