This review ___does not_ contain spoilers__. And i highly recommend watching it if you're already on the fence about it.
Alright, this review is just my personal opinion and should not be taken seriously.
Bocchi The Rock! is an anime adaption of the manga with the same name.
The manga was created by manga writer Aki Hamaji and this anime is my personal favorite anime of all time.
The series is a music/comedy anime about well, you guessed it: MUSIC!!
While there were some things that could be done just slightly better; It is one of the most rounded out slice of life anime i have watched. Even though I can't relate to social anxiety, I can still say that I love this series. Whether you're here for the music, or slice of life, or hell even CGDCT, you'll be able to have a good time watching this series.
Though there are about 200 other reviews of this anime on this site alone, I am here also because I want to say something about this anime that I hold dearly to me.If you've read the other reviews, everybody says the sound design, visuals and writing are on point and stunning. I'm going to say the same. This anime has one of the best spectacles and gags that I've ever seen in an anime. I'm sure there's a show out there which looks much better in animation quality. But the series' use of different animating styles, digital effects and motion capture are some of the best mixes of mediums in anime. It's just too damn creative.
▶ VideoDespite not being able to relate to social anxiety, I'm sure a lot of us can see ourselves in Bocchi's shoes. Being nervous of having to talk to people is probably a universal experience that everyone has had to experience atleast once.

Also, The music is on point. It displays what real performers would be doing and playing on stage. It shows the exhaustion of playing on stage. The mental and physical strain from all of the different things happening on stage. The hand placements of the notes are accurate. The drumming animation is realistic to what is being played. It's all so damn good!
▶ VideoIn fact, this show has actually inspired me to start playing guitar!
There's always something to take away from a series like this. And I hope there is a sequel to the story. But, either way, __there's too much to say and no time to say it.
(Edit: THERE'S A SEQUEL YEAHHHH!!!!!!)
__
Conclusion: Bocchi The Rock is a great anime that has done a lot of things for the medium/genre of music anime and slice of life.
You should watch Bocchi The Rock if you want to.
Thanks for reading the review!
