Slice of DEATH

So Dropkick on my Devil is a Slice of Life... if you are a mass murderer. So let's take any Slice of Life you know, maybe Azumanga Daioh or Gabriel DropOut, and spice it a bit with blood. So it's about this very likeable snake woman who is summoned from Hell to the upper world, but really doesn't want to be there. Therefore, she tries to kill her owner in the most brutal way possible to free herself from an alliance she never wanted. The downside is that her owner is arguably the most brutal and strongest woman on earth, which is why she's the one who dies. And often. Very often and very brutally... and honestly, never undeservedly. Jashin-chan is truly horrific. And so it's good to see the immortal demon suffer over and over again. That alone would be worth it, if it weren't for one more thing...

Funny as HELL (other than this title)

Dropkick on my Devil is really funny for people with no braincells. Lucky I'm one of them. It's super funny to watch how all the characters interact with each other. Whether it's Jashin-chan herself, making herself as unpopular as possible, or her "friends" experiencing hilarious situations over Jashin-chan. The humor goes beyond simple slapstick. It's silly, very silly, but uncreative. Unexpected jokes can quickly lighten the mood. Of particular note is Devil A, an interjectionist who has to comment on random things completely out of context. It's celebratory, and I love it.

I adore anyone who's not Jashin-chan

I hate Jashin-chan. Oh my god, I hate her so much. But that's the entire point. Jashin-chan is an awful friend (that kind of friends who steals your breakfast because you are a "cool guy"), she's dumb af and an awful person in general. But on the other hand all the other characters are awesome. Medusa, her best friend, is really adorable and kind. Yurine, her best enemy, is the only intelligent character and as such a perfect conter for all the others. Pekola is the poor guy, who just suffers in every second of her life.
ShEs So ME foR REaL. And there are so much more characters I'm happy to see. I bet everyone, yes even you, will find one character that is your spirit animal, your best friend, your mojo, your absolute peak.

Conclusion
I started the series because I saw clips of Miku from the third season. I wasn't really interested in the whole thing until I actually gave it a try. I could never binge it; it's TOO brain rot, but it's really perfect for rewatching bit by bit. I had a lot of fun and would recommend anyone out there to give it a try if they have a boring half hour to spare. Who knows, maybe it'll be worth it?
