⚽ Blue Lock Review (Season 1)
Okay so I watched Blue Lock and it was like… kinda cool but also kinda weird??? It’s about soccer but not really. It’s like they put all these guys in a big jail and make them fight each other to be the best striker or something. Not fist fight but like, soccer fighting. Idk, it’s kinda crazy.

Story
The idea is wild. They wanna win the World Cup so they lock up 300 dudes who play soccer and say “only one of you gets out.” That’s messed up but also kinda fire. But also kinda dumb?? Sometimes it was hard to follow what was even going on. They talk A LOT about ego and stuff. Bro it’s soccer, pass the ball or kick it.

Pacing
It was fast sometimes, like super hype and cool. Then suddenly it's all talking and thinking in their heads and I was like “can we go back to goals please.” Some episodes were super fun, others made me kinda bored. Not gonna lie, I paused a few times to check my phone ? Like, stop thinking and do something!!

Characters
Main guy Isagi is… okay. He thinks too much tho. Like bro, you're not him. Bachira is funny, I like him, he’s like a soccer gremlin or something.

But Chigiri? Oh man.
Chigiri is the guy. Fastest in the whole show, and he looks like he belongs on a magazine cover. Red hair, calm vibe. I love the charecter and think he deserve so so much more love here in season 1

Nagi is chill but acts like he’s better than everyone (he kinda is tho ngl). Reo is dramatic. There’s a lot of yelling and glowing eyes. Too many people to remember honestly. Some of the new guys were just annoying or weird, tbh.

Animation & Sound
The art was cool sometimes! Like when they do special moves and the lines go all crazy — that looked sick fr. The dramatic lighting and glowing eyes were kinda fun. But also… some of the animation was actual trash, not gonna lie ?.

Like those weird 3D models?? Bro what was that?? They looked like PS2 cutscenes. Every time the camera switched to that janky 3D during running scenes I almost laughed. It looked so stiff and fake, like Roblox soccer or something. Totally ruined the hype in some moments.

Music was alright, not super memorable tho. But the “EGO” song kinda got stuck in my head ngl.

Final Thoughts
Blue Lock was fun sometimes but also kinda over the top and not very real. They talk too much, think too much, and act like they’re fighting in Dragon Ball when it’s just soccer. It’s not bad, just not amazing either. I liked the cool parts, especially anything with Chigiri, but I wouldn’t watch it again unless someone made me. It’s like a hype trailer stretched into 24 episodes.

Final Score: 6/10
I liked it but i would not rewatch it. But if you like soccer and alot of diffrent charecters i definetly think you shoud pick it up. Both season 2 and Episode Nagi so you got alot waiting after season 1
