Esse filme é uma das peças de ficção mais divertidas que ja vi em minha vida inteira, é uma carta de amor a toda cultura otaku e é perceptivel o carinho imposto na criação de cada coisinha desse anime, desde sua trilha sonora espetacular até sua animação bizarramente bem feita. Tudo é muito bem trabalhado, você entra se divertindo e sai querendo ou mais, sendo fã de arte esse filme é um prato cheio pra mim.

#Interesse
Eu confesso que não tinha muita expectativa pra esse filme, eu sinceramente não dava nada pra uma produção da Netflix, levando em conta o péssimo histórico dela com animes, como a adaptação de Shuumatsu no Valkyrie ou a péssima distribuição dos episódios de JoJo Stone Ocean, mas aí me veio a informação da staff desse filme, QUE IA TER O DEBUT DE DIREÇÃO DO FUCKING SHINGO YAMASHITA, pra aqueles que não são muito chegados a sakuga ou produção de animes, Shingo Yamashita é sinceramente um dos melhores animadores que tem no mercado, os seus trabalhos mais reconhecíveis são a direção das duas primeiras aberturas de Jujutsu Kaisen, que contam com uma animação extremamente bela e consistente com um estilo bem único (que inclusive o estilo das cenas de batalha em Chou Kaguya-hime! são bem similares a essas aberturas).

Outra das coisas que me atrairam pro filme foram o envolvimento de diversos artistas de vocaloid como 40mp, Kz, ryo (supercell), HoneyWorks e Aqu3ra para as musicas do filme, quando eu vi em meu twitter QUE TINHA UM COVER DE WORLD IS MINE NO FILME EU INSTANTANEAMENTE PUIS ELE NO "PLANNING" DO MEU ANILIST.

Animação

Sua animação é algo que eu não sei descrever em palavras o quão cativante é, normalmente se espera um nível de qualidade técnico alto em uma produção de filme, mas Cosmic Princess Kaguya olha pra esse padrão e quebra totalmente criando as cenas mais vivas, fluidas e belas da atualidade.

Tudo é belo, tem cores extremamente lindas e que compõem cenas que facilmente seriam vídeos de exibição para testes de cores em monitores. É tudo muito caprichado, ele segue diversos estilos artísticos, o traço muda frequentemente até chegando em algo mais "cartoon". Os personagens nunca param por um segundo, mal tem cenas estáticas, a fluidez de cada cena é uma surpresa para qualquer amante de animação. Os personagens são extremamente expressivos (eu adoro isso com todas as minhas forças). As cenas de ação são uma das coisas mais assustadoras que ja vi na minha vida, elas aderem um estilo criativo complexo e pouco visto, Yamashita brilhou na direção desse filme em um nível que não consigo imaginar como esse filme teria sido executado por outra mente criativa. Os shows dos personagens no filme tem coreografias divertidas e fluidas, o jogo de câmera é belo, usa frequentemente ângulos e perspectivas diferentes e a musica... a musica...

Trilha sonora

A trilha sonora é espetacular, pra um filme com o tema de idols eu esperava o basico... musica mediocre chiclete pra viralizar nivel Kpop Demon Hunters, mas veio só pedrada atrás de pedrada, não só das musicas principais que são vocalizadas, mas sim da OST de fundo, elas são muito bem colocadas e se destacam muito bem nos meus ouvidos, não é uma trilha nível kensuke ushio mas é algo pra se destacar.

Personagens + um pouquin da historia

Ele não tenta parecer complexo e profundo, muito pelo contrario, ele pega o bobo e o simples e exagera o máximo possível criando as cenas mais divertidas que você vai ver na sua vida. O principal atrativo para mim foram as 2 protagonistas, eu adoro o desenvolvimento delas e amo sua simplicidade, ele nunca tenta ser algo que não é se mantendo muito consistente durante o seu desenvolvimento.
O desenvolvimento dos personagens é um ponto muito bom pra se destacar. Iroha muda de uma garota distante e confusa em uma pessoa menos travada e livre. Sua transformação é realista e profundamente comovente. Kaguya... eeeeh ela não precisa disso ela é a personagem mais carismática e amável que já vi em uma historia. As emoções entre as duas são delicadas e intensas, servindo como apoio e refúgio uma para a outra. Suas interações são sutis tornam essa emoção genuína e bela. As personagens se influenciam, ela mudam como pessoa mantendo sua própria essência, as duas tem um vinculo especial e isso é perceptível, o comportamento delas se adaptam com o tempo. A relação da Kaguya e da Iroha é uma das minhas dinâmicas favoritas dos animes em geral.

#Conclusão
Eu nunca me diverti tanto com uma produção audiovisual, eu não lembro de nenhuma vez de ter tido um entretenimento que me trouxe-se beleza e felicidade em um pacote só. É uma qualidade absurda que chega a ser estranha de tão boa, senti um conforto extremo vendo este filme e diversas vezes fiquei igual uma garotinha abraçando bem forte minhas pelúcias pra cada momento lindo desse filme.
Cosmic Princess Kaguya é único e eu facilmente diria que é um anime obrigatório pra qualquer pessoa que gosta da cultura otaku em geral.

This movie is one of the most entertaining pieces of fiction I have ever seen in my entire life. It’s a love letter to otaku culture, and you can clearly feel the care put into every tiny detail of this anime, from its spectacular soundtrack to its absurdly well done animation. Everything is handled beautifully. You go in having fun and come out wanting more and more. As someone who loves art, its a honor for me watch it.

#Interest

I’ll admit I didn’t have high expectations for this movie. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from a Netflix production, considering its terrible management with anime, like the adaptation of Shuumatsu no Valkyrie or the terrible episode distribution of JoJo’s Stone Ocean. But when I found out the staff involved were composed by famous names in the industry and THIS WAS GOING TO BE THE DEBUT OF SHINGO YAMASHITA AS AN ANIME DIRECTOR.
For those who aren’t very familiar with sakuga or anime production, Shingo Yamashita is honestly one of the best animators in the industry. One of his most recognizable works include directing the first two openings of Jujutsu Kaisen, which feature extremely beautiful and consistent animation with a very unique style (and the battle scenes in Chou Kaguya-hime! are actually very similar to those openings).
Another thing that attracted me to the film was the involvement of several Vocaloid artists like 40mp, kz, ryo (supercell), HoneyWorks, and Aqu3ra in the movie’s music. When I saw on Twitter THAT THERE WAS A COVER OF “WORLD IS MINE” IN THE FILM, I INSTANTLY PUT IT ON MY ANILIST PLANNING.

#Animation

I honestly don’t know how to put into words how captivating the animation is. Usually, you expect a high technical level in a movie production, but Cosmic Princess Kaguya looks at that standard and completely breaks it, creating some of the most lively, fluid, and beautiful scenes of the industry.
Everything is gorgeous. The colors are stunning and create scenes that could easily be used as monitor color display tests. The level of care is incredible. It follows multiple artistic styles, the linework changes frequently, sometimes even shifting into something more “cartoon-like.”
The characters never stop moving, there are barely any static scenes. The fluidity of each moment is a surprise to any animation lover. The characters are extremely expressive (I absolutely love that). The action scenes are some of the most breathtaking things I’ve ever seen. They adopt a creative, complex, and rare seen style. Yamashita absolutely shined in directing this movie at a level where I genuinely can’t imagine how it would have been executed by another creative mind.
The performance scenes have a gorgeous and fluid choreography, beautiful camera work with frequent use of different angles and perspectives and the music… the music… ooh my god.

#Soundtrack

The soundtrack is spectacular. For a movie themed around idols, I expected something basic, with a mediocre and catchy songs made just to go viral. But instead, it was hit after hit. Not only the main vocal songs, but also the background OST, they’re incredibly well-placed and stand out beautifully to my ears. It’s not on the level of kensuke ushio, but it’s definitely something worth highlighting.

#Characters + a bit of the story

It doesn’t try to be complex or deep. Quite the opposite, it takes something simple and silly and exaggerates it as much as possible, creating some of the most fun scenes you’ll ever see in your life.
The main attraction for me was the two protagonists. I love their development and I adore their simplicity. The film never tries to be something it’s not, staying very consistent throughout its progression. Character development is definitely a strong point. Iroha changes from a distant and "shy" girl into someone less restrained and more free. Her transformation feels realistic and its well writen. Kaguya… well, she doesn’t even need a good development... she’s the most charismatic and lovable character I’ve ever seen in a story. But yeah, she has a great development too (but i think they are more like a spoiler, so i wont talk about it)
The connection between those two are soo cute, they serve as support and refuge for each other. Their interactions are subtle, making that emotion feel genuine and beautiful. They influence each other and change as people while still maintaining their own essence. They share a special bond, and that’s clearly perceptible, their behavior adapts over time.

Kaguya and Iroha’s relationship is one of my favorite dynamics in anime overall.

#Conclusion

I’ve never had so much fun with an audiovisual production. I don’t remember ever experiencing a media that brought me this level of beauty and happiness in the same place. The quality is absurd, almost strangely good.
I feel an extreme sense of comfort watching this movie, and several times I felt like a little girl hugging my plushies tightly during every beautiful moment.
Cosmic Princess Kaguya is unique, and I would easily call it a must-watch anime for anyone who enjoys otaku culture in general.
