Story: 9/10
Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai (aka I want to eat your pancreas) has this kind of classic-dying-person story that will bring you to tears. I put 9 because it met my expectations (except for the end which was a surprise). It wasn't too dramatic or too exciting. It felt realistic to me. Illness is real. It can happen to everyone, but how you cope with it it's up to you. This is the most important message this movie left me. What is living? This is a question most people tend to seek an answer to and in this movie you will see that a lot. The plot was pretty good but I wish it lasted longer.

Music: 7/10 __
The music was pretty good. It matched the art and the plot, but personally, I wasn't thrilled.
Art: 10/10
What can I say for this? The art is amazing, matching the characters' personalities and lifestyle. The producers did an awesome job on this one. The beauty and detail on every scene is spectacular.

Let me describe Sakura's personality with 3 things: full of life (even though sometimes you may think it's fake), honest, brave. It takes courage to try and stay positive when your life turns upside down. It takes courage to make someone else happy. It takes courage to live your life to the fullest whether you are healthy or not. Her whole personality is what makes this movie unique. She has her downs as well, as everyone would in her situation.
Hikari on the other side is an introvert that prefers spending time with books than with people. He's the exact opposite of Sakura. These 2 characters have exactly what each other needs and they make worth your time watching. However, I feel that the rest characters were out of the picture, something I wish didn't happen. I think if more characters were included this movie could get even higher rates.
Overall: 9/10
A stunning movie to watch, with real-life situations that will make you wonder how short your life is. To some this movie might seem unrealistic on how the characters got close or how the movie ends. However, before reaching that conclusion, how about think: why not? Life is about billions of possibilities, positive and bad ones. What if there is one possibility, just one that could turn your life around? Keep that in mind as you watch this movie, which is worth of your time if you like emotional movies.
