MINOR SPOILERS !!
If you haven't decided to watch the second season of Kaguya-Sama yet, I advise you to go ahead and check it out this instant for reasons I could list for hours upon hours.
This season of this series has blown all my previous expectations out of the water, enhancing the plot from the first season and somehow making it even better and much more enjoyable. I mean seriously, I would binge watch 100 episodes without stopping if it was an option.
Now onto the characters, who make the anime completely outstanding in terms of personality and entertainment. The protagonists are unique characters for a romcom, Kaguya specifically standing out to me with her adorableness and her mindset, Shriogane as well with his on par brilliant strategies. The supporting cast is adorable as well, I love Chika's funny persona and Ishigami's relatable vibe. Lino was also introduced, and I find her very intriguing so far.
Lastly and most importantly, the comedy and romance. When I tell you that this series never fails to make me laugh extremely loud, it is nothing but the truth. countless events stand out to me specifically, so I would strongly recommend you just watch those moments for yourself. The tension between Shirogane and Kaguya is heart fluttering as well, and when something happens it's so exciting and leaves me in utmost anticipation.
Also, I found this season much more enjoyable than the first for some reason, as I also believe this anime truly has the potential to be in the top 3, or even number one of 2020 as a whole. I guess I must write over 2,200 characters in my review, so I will point out other positive factors the anime has. I find the comedy level at times to almost be on par with Gintama, which is saying quite a lot. Hayasaka and Ishigami also prove to be the best waifus of 2020 thus far. Even with all of these amazing qualities, the factor that takes the cake for me is Shirogane and Kaguya's relationship. I find the so-called "war" they have going on so enjoyable, and it always persuades me to watch as much as possible. I must also point out the Kaguya's VA is spectacular, and the fact she's quite new to voice acting blows me away. My favorite part about this season for how much I watched so far is the scene in the storage room, I found it to be quite suspenseful and hilarious, yet adorable at the same time. I hope to see an Ishigami and Miko romance blossom, the two characters would work quite well together based on their personalities and how they knew each other prior to her joining the student council.
Overall, Kaguya-sama is one of my favorite animes I've watched for these given reasons, so why not just check it out after reading this review?
