But above all else, this show is your classic love story of young adults finding their way through the twisting road that is life, and the hardships that come with understanding what love is. While yes this story has been told several times before, something about this show just makes you love all the characters. From the random side Hitman that only gets addressed like 3 times in the show, to the beauty salons cat, to every member of the main cast, something about each of these characters (at least for me) just makes you connect to them on an emotional level, where even if they don’t have any speaking lines, you somehow still understand their motivations, at least partially. Which might be where this show really shines, because you understand everyone’s point of view, leading to there not really being a bad guy in this series, for example, Charles isn’t a bad guy he’s just a man who wants to do the best for the woman he loves.

Ultimately overall I’m going to give the show an 80/100 because while yes I do like the resolution between the main two, the amount of little side plots that had no resolution whatsoever kind of irritated me, and it was like they planned for this show to be 24 episodes and then like after they already wrote the full script they’re just found out “oh by the way our budget got slashed in half so now we have like 13 episodes instead” and they just had to figure out how to make the two MC’s story work in 13 episodes, and while I think they did a good job with them, it came at the cost of leaving all the side plots uncompleted.
