That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

Satoru Mikami is a thirty-seven-year-old IT manager who dies in the most banal way possible — stabbed in the street by a robber while protecting a coworker — and reincarnates as a small slime in a forest he does not recognize. His new body has no eyes and no hunger but a worryingly versatile predator skill that lets him copy anything he consumes. He renames himself Rimuru after a chance meeting with a sealed dragon called Veldora, eats his way out of the cave they share, and starts assembling, by accident, the monster nation his second life will be spent governing.
