86: Eighty Six
The Republic of San Magnolia officially fights its war against the neighbouring Empire of Giad with unmanned drones called Juggernauts. Officially. In practice, the Juggernauts are piloted by the Eighty-six — a population the Republic has decided does not count as human — and the casualty figures are paperwork the public never sees. Major Vladilena Milizé is assigned to handle the radio for one such squadron, Spearhead, and slowly learns who is on the other end of the line. The squadron's captain, Shin, is using the assignment to hunt the brother he believes was turned into one of the Empire's autonomous corpses.

A nation at war, a society that is not what it seems, the segregation and discrimination of a group.
Krieg ist immer gleich auch wenn es ein Anti-Kriegsmechadrama ist
A story that reminds you about the things that are truly worth fighting for!
My review on 86 (Part 1/2)
A great show that handles the issue of racism and segregation really well, however loses its footing towards the end.
A emotional story about war, discrimination, racism, segregation and idealism
One of the best anime of 2021 reviving the mecha and military drama genre
Beautiful storytelling direction, soundtrack and visuals, but suffers from weak plot foundations. Worth a watch!
Fun Premise, Bad Characters
The most well shot and directed genocide of the year, falling just short of greatness.
