The second cour of Slime's second season picks up Tempest after the Falmuth-Holy-Church invasion has been turned back and the survivors are filing in for the federation's first independence festival. Rimuru, freshly elevated to True Demon Lord, makes the working decision to settle accounts with Clayman — the puppeteer behind the entire invasion. The cour culminates in Walpurgis, the Demon Lord council meeting, and the open trial Rimuru runs against Clayman in front of every existing Demon Lord. Veldora is along for the fight. Most of the cast that defined the show's first three seasons takes its current shape here.
