With the Tsukasa stand-off settled and the Kingdom of Science back in one piece, Senku turns the village's attention from continental survival to global ambition. Petroleum, a working hull, and the journey to the source of the petrification ray require a ship, and the ship requires the kind of metallurgy the village has never attempted before. The third season opens as the crew sets sail across the Pacific toward a Treasure Island said to hold the device that started all this — and toward the first organized society they have encountered since the rebuild began.
