86: Eighty Six Part 2
The Spearhead survivors of the first cour, presumed dead by the Republic, are found by patrols of the neighbouring Federacy and offered citizenship in a country that doesn't categorize their lives as inhuman. Shin and the rest sign on, recover, and discover within months that they cannot stop fighting. Frederica — a Federal child of unusual eyesight and intuition — adopts Shin's unit. Lena, on the other side of the front, is alive and remains in the Republic, eventually breaking out to find Shin again. The cour ends with the front line moving back inside Empire territory and the cost of finishing the Legion war becoming clear.

A visual storytelling spectacle that's simply a blast to watch
My casual thoughts on 86
A very surface-level work art in disguise.
Boringly executed with laughable politics and poor character development. Besides Shin and Milize, no one else matters.
A well directed, but ultimately lesser, attempt to catch the magic of Season 1. Now with 100% more insufferable Lolis.
A somewhat compelling character drama with a juvenile understanding of politics.
Season 1 is a good start and had me intrigued. Season 2 was a complete let down
Diet coke war media with no attitude or originality. Lukewarm and childish. An entirely one-note existence
