Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Survive?

Himari and Yuu have been each other's closest friend since elementary school and have ridden the same bike route home for nine years running. The day Yuu announces he has reconnected with a girl he had a crush on in middle school — Rin, who has just transferred to their high school — is the day the friendship Himari has been treating as permanent stops feeling like one. The series is the gardening club Himari and Yuu run together, the late spring season the show takes place over, and the small private decision Himari makes about whether to say anything about how she is starting to feel.
