Attack on Titan

For a century the walled cities of humanity have known no titans — the colossal man-eaters that drove the species to near-extinction generations ago. The illusion of safety ends the day a Colossal Titan appears from nowhere and breaches the outer wall, letting the smaller titans flood in. Among the survivors are teenage Eren Yeager and his foster sister Mikasa, who watch their mother eaten alive in the rubble. Eren swears that every titan will die at his hand. The story follows him from that vow into the Survey Corps, the elite unit that ventures beyond the walls.
