Gachiakuta

Rudo grew up on the floating city of Sphere, in the part of town the rich literally throw their garbage past on the way down to the Pit. His foster father is murdered. The crime is pinned on Rudo. The legal penalty for murder on Sphere is exile — over the edge — and Rudo lands in the Pit alive thanks to gloves that turn anything he holds into a weapon. The bottom is a wasteland of mutated trash-spawned monsters and the human cleaners who survive among them. Rudo joins a cleaner crew, learns to fight as one, and starts the long climb back up to find who actually killed his father.
