You and I Are Polar Opposites

Suzuki has spent the first month of high school trying to be the cheerful, agreeable girl her classmates expect, and she has fallen quietly hard for Yusuke Tani — a deadpan, stoic boy who refuses to laugh at the same jokes she has been working on. The series is the campaign she conducts to get him to say one of her name, on her terms, while pretending the campaign is not happening. Yusuke notices. He responds in roughly the same vocabulary she uses, which is a sentence and a half per week and a continued refusal to laugh at her jokes.
