The Ramparts of Ice

Koyuki Higawa has spent middle school on the wrong side of a quiet bullying campaign and shows up to her first day of high school determined to spend the next three years politely invisible. Amamiya Minato decides on the same morning, for reasons he refuses to share, that he is going to keep showing up at her desk. His popular childhood friend Miki is reading the situation in real time. The basketball captain Youta is reading a different situation. The series follows four students whose only shared trait is that none of them are quite the person their classmates have decided they are.
