Assassination Classroom

Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High is the dumping ground — the academic basement, repeated by every student the school has given up on. Their new homeroom teacher is a yellow, smiling, eight-foot-tall creature who introduced himself by destroying most of the moon and promising to do the same to Earth in a year. The Japanese government has decided the cheapest defense plan is the class itself: teach them, arm them with non-lethal weapons that only work on him, and let them try. Nobody mentions that he is also the best teacher any of them have ever had.
