Okabe Rintarou rents a cluttered Akihabara apartment and calls it the Future Gadget Laboratory. The gadgets are mostly broken; the lab members are his sweet childhood friend Mayuri and a hacker named Daru who lives on energy drinks. The microwave that text-messages bananas turning into green sludge is just a joke until they notice that the messages it sends arrive in the past. From there it is one cautious experiment, then another, then a string of consequences that nobody saw coming — a dead body, a missing childhood, and the realization that going back is not the same as undoing.
Review of Steins;Gate going over my issues with the characters, time travel, and romance
steins;gate's cold, impersonal metaphysics contrast well with okabe's warm humanity
I'm not saying Steins;Gate is a dumb show. I'm saying that it's full of shit.
An anime with a great idea, that started out confusing, progressed well to the middle, declined, then finished decent.
Steins;Gate reseña independiente de novelas visuales
Terrible build up to a great reveal. Some lacking aspects but excelling in others to deliver an interesting experience.
Most overrated show of all time with predictable story
"He's a little confused, but he's got the spirit"
If you seek to start sympathizing with the otaku culture as a whole, Steins;Gate is going to be very helpful
This is certainly the most overrated show of all time.
