Levi Squad is assigned to protect Eren and Historia after their identities become too valuable to leave on the front line. The Military Police, whose corruption has been hinted at for two seasons, finally move openly — a tortured priest, an ambush on Erwin, a hired killer Levi recognizes from his life before the Scouts. Eren's titan transformation has new wrinkles that nobody can explain, and Historia, until recently a quiet member of the 104th, turns out to be the missing piece in a question about who actually rules the walls.
