Touhou Kenbunroku: Shichuu Renai Kansatsugaku Kouza
A young girl named Kimidori suddenly appears before the protagonist, Yoshitaro, and tells him, "You're my fiancée." Her grandmother and Yoshitaro's grandfather were passionately in love, but they never married, and instead passed on their feelings to their grandson. Kimidori invites Yoshitaro to "become my fiancée, go to various places, take photos together, and send them to my grandmother in America, and you'll receive a huge inheritance!"
Thus begins the pair's peculiar exploration of Tokyo... This story beautifully depicts the real lives of young people in the late 1980s, the Tokyo landscape, and the sense of the times, visiting places like Ginza, the National Diet Building, Nakano Broadway, Kunitachi, Harajuku, Enoshima, Inokashira Park, Aoyama Cemetery, and Kanda Jinbocho.
