Story

The story is about Tatsu, who stops being a yakuza (a japanese criminal) and instead becomes a househusband.
This anime consists of funny situations he encounters, and little conflicts with old rivals and friends from his past as a criminell.

Theme and what to expect from it

The anime is mainly a comedy and has a very ironic, dry sense of humor which I personally really enjoyed.
It doesnt take it self to serious, which is really important in my opinion when it comes to comedy anime like this one.
The music isnt anything to special, but it fits the show really well and the opening is good as well (but the ending isnt that interesting).
But just dont expect to much of a plot, because its basically just a collection of funny scenes that arent connected to each other (for the most part).
Which is also why its pretty much impossible to get spoiled because nothing too dramatic happens (and its also just five episodes by now, so yeah).

Animation (and why its not that important)

Although the animation takes some time to get used to, the overall art and style isnt that bad and the jokes and good humor easily make up for it.
Its just a little bit confusing why it seems that Netflix didnt put that much money into the animation, when they managed to produce a show like Kakegurui (which looks amazing to me) but then refuse to put the same money and effort into this project.

And because the show only consists of short and funny comedy scenes, the animation is still enough for the jokes to work.
This isnt an action based shounen anime or anything like that, which is why the animation is less important in my opinion (but it would still be nice to get better animation in the future).
I still think watching the anime is a better experience than reading the manga, just because you have the great voice acting that makes it a little bit more funny and enjoyable to watch than just reading it (That doesnt mean that the manga is bad).

Conclusion and final thoughts:

Im personally really keen on watching the next season once it releases, and i hope that maybe they will then rework the animation, so that fans can enjoy the show more than by now.
Overall its still a solid little comedy if you just want to laugh and relax, but dont expect to much to happen when it comes to the plot.
This is not the type of show thats gonna blow you away animationwise, but instead the type to just shut your brain off to and enjoy the comedy.
Yes. The Animation could have been better. But did that stop me from enjoying every second of it? Absolutly not.
So, if you just dont expect that much from this show, I think still youre gonna have a great time watching it.
