Welcome to the Waifora Contribution Manual.

Most of the anime and manga data on Waifora is sourced and synced from public databases. We still rely on contributors to fill gaps, correct mistakes, and add the human context that no API gives us: better summaries, missing characters, wrong staff credits, broken images, mistagged genres, and so on.

This manual documents:

• What kinds of changes Waifora accepts.
• How to submit them (and what counts as a good submission).
• What happens next — review, approval, and feedback from the team.

Who should read this

• Anyone spotting an error or missing detail — start with the Submission Process and the Checklist.

Before you write a submission

1. Read the Checklist. It catches 80% of avoidable mistakes.
2. Confirm your Sources are acceptable.
3. Pick the matching guideline page for the entity you're editing (anime, manga, character, staff, studio, image, tag…).
