Submission Process

Every submission passes through the same flow, whether it's a typo fix or a brand-new character entry.

1. Prepare

• Read the relevant Submission Guidelines page for the entity you're changing.
• Run through the Checklist — it covers formatting, casing, romanisation, and the most common rejection reasons.
• Gather your sources. A single screenshot, an official site link, or a frame timestamp is usually enough; see Sourcing.

2. Submit

Use one of the Channels. When you submit, include:

• Target: the exact URL or entity ID being changed.
• Change: what is wrong, what it should say, and (when relevant) what should be added or removed.
• Sources: at least one verifiable link, image, or timestamp.
• Variant: for episode-level edits, note Sub vs Dub if applicable.

3. Review

A moderator will look at the submission and do one of:

• Approve — the change goes live and the entry is updated.
• Approve with edits — the moderator adjusts wording or sourcing and ships it; you'll be told what changed.
• Request more info — they'll ping you for clarification, an extra source, or a better screenshot.
• Reject — with a reason (out of scope, can't verify, duplicate, against guidelines). You can resubmit if you address the reason.

Most clear-cut edits ship within a few days. Larger or contested ones can take longer.

4. After approval

Once the change is live:

• It's visible on Waifora immediately for static fields; some derived data (rankings, recommendations) refreshes on a schedule.
• Your contribution is logged. Repeat helpful contributors are surfaced on the Moderators page over time.

What we don't accept

• Edits motivated by personal preference rather than fact (changing a tag because you disagree it fits, etc.).
• Sources that are themselves user-generated and unverifiable (random fan wikis without citation, social media speculation).
• Mass automated submissions.
