STORY/PLOT:
"you want my treasure, you can have it I left everything I gathered together in one place. Now you'll just have to find it!." - Gold D Roger.
These were the words said by the King of Pirates before his execution, which sprang the new pirate era. Years after the execution, our one furthermore only main character, Monkey D. Luffy, and unique side character "Red-Haired" Shanks step out, and little do we know the friendship they forged will start the grand adventure of One Piece.
During Luffy's embark, he decides to sail out and follow his dreams to become king of the pirates while returning Shank's hat as a pledge which was "promise that you'll bring it back to me someday when you've become a great pirate." Do you believe that Luffy can do it by himself? Nope, Luffy states that "he wants at least ten crew members with abilities he felt necessary for his goal."
As everything begins to progress, Luffy finds himself with crew members who decide to dedicate their time to help Luffy accomplish his dream and their dream as well. While Simultaneously overcoming hardships, making friendships, exploring new islands, and discovering new things.
After hearing the objective plot of One Piece, we should touch base on comparing this plot to other shounen series. What does shounen significantly mean? Shounen is one of the most popular genres of animanga. It is geared toward teenage kids and usually features a male protagonist who embarks on an adventure filled with challenges. Without being biased, I think the overall plot of One Piece is ordinary compared to great shounen shows like Hunter x Hunter, Naruto, Bleach, and Dragon Ball. Despite One Piece having a similar plot, the show has its conceptions, making it one of the best shounen to exist.
CHARACTERS:
Ahh, yes, the characters, the essential part of creating an imposing animanga. The characters from One Piece draw the readers/watchers to like the series, while the troupe consists of more than ten main characters. I'll have to say that some of the characters lack essential parts of being an excellent main character which is character development and emotions. Yes, the series isn't over yet, but we are in about 1000+ chapters. I expected to see tremendous growth from all characters.
ILLUSTRATIONS:
The illustration is the essential key factor to any animanga. The drawings are made extraordinary from my perspective since it's troublesome for mangakas to pull off, making the wording with the fighting scene visible for readers to understand. The character designs are somewhat very well also. The only annoying thing is the characters' body proportions since they seem so unrealistic for most women.

ENJOYMENT:
Yes, One Piece is an animanga that I'll 100% guarantee that you'll enjoy to the fullest. The times I've laughed, smiled, and cried are staggering. No matter how many times I reread/rewatch One Piece, I always express various emotions.
No matter what show you'll watch, there will always be ups and downs, but that can't prevent you from experiencing something or joining in the adventure.
