Hello nekoama here, and this is my first anime review, so please take it easy on me. I'll be reviewing Tonikaku Kawaii, and before we even get into it please listen to the opening here as you read my poor excuse of a review. You won't regret it :D. Or maybe you will. This review might contain spoilers.

What is Tonikaku Kawaii about? To give a quick run-through, Nasa and Tsukasa get married and we get to see their daily lives as a couple.
Well here's a brief summary of the first ep if you are into that. I was typing this out and realize how useless it was and I didn't want to waste it so I pasted it here. We begin with the protagonist Nasa and as he is walking home, he suddenly sees a very cute girl walking across the street. Seeing as this was a scene orchestrated by fate, he decides to go after her. Entranced by her beauty he fails to notice the oncoming car and within seconds he is on the ground covered in blood. Luckily the beauty, Tsukasa, manages to save his life. Seeing her leave him as suddenly as she came he wanted to be with her if only a second. In addition to his broken bones, Nasa is bleeding to death as he runs after her. She tells him that they could be together if he marries her. So, they get married two years later and we see their lives as a couple.
What I like about this anime is that they literally get married in the first ep. Other animes take an entire season just for the mcs to not even get a kiss in.

I hear the art was bad, but personally, it looks fine to me. It seems very fitting for the anime with a whole variety of colors and everything pops. I do appreciate the animation and art for the moon. It looks very nice and something about it is soothing. But the opening through. I need to say this again the opening is so good. So go enjoy it.

The main aspect of this show is how wholesome and funny it is. Personally, I thought each episode has some very funny moments and entertaining ones as well. They also included a lot of references in this show which surprised me. Some of the ones, on the top of my head, are the human centipede one and the street fighters.

Each of the characters are likable and they add a new layer of content to the show. Or the side characters I should say yes they are good. I liked the maids of Chitose cause somehow they know exactly what to do that the right times.
Nasa is the intelligent type, and he is very good at doing stuff, but when it comes to the most basic things he is very ignorant. For example, he never noticed that Aya liked him and he felt torn up that, but Kaname tells him that
"It's wrong to expect someone to understand how you feel without telling them. She didn't have the guts to change the future, so she lost"
I guess this doesn't apply to Nasa, because he took the opportunity to confess to Tsukasa. The one thing Nasa is certain of is his love for Tsukasa.
"You don't get married because you've proven you're in love... You get married so you can prove it." - Yuzaki Nasa
Initially, Tsukasa was the cool and collected type. Who seemed very mature on the surface. However, as time passes by she displays more emotions. She gets embarrassed easily when Nasa proclaims his love for her and how cute she is. Just like Nasa, she is also certain that her love for him is real as well.

What I enjoyed most about this show was basically just seeing them come together. Something about seeing two people who love each other together makes you feel something you know. It makes you feel happy for them but also sad if you yourself are alone. There shows that make you wish that you had someone to be with are the ones that I really enjoy.
So that concludes the review. Wow, first review and I'm amazing, right? You could say I'm a natural at this.
