ReLife was the first manga I read there in 2013 and I have an immense affection for this work, not to mention that it was my gateway to enter the world of manga.I finished rereading it today and ReLife is one of the best I've read, ReLife was the work that made me think a lot about what direction I should take in my life after I finished high school, and the work made me reflect a lot at the time and if if it weren't for her I wouldn't have built up the courage to "socialize" with people more and have created a very different view of what it is really like when you become an "Adult". And it gave me a boost to learn the English language lol. I think if it wasn't ReLife I really don't know what my "me" would be today. So, that's why this piece is everything to me.
Well, one of the strongest points of the work are the characters that are amazing and how charismatic they are, funny and not to mention that it's impossible if you don't get attached to them. Not only Arata or Hishiro, but they are all super well developed, the drama in ReLIFE is wonderful. We have a background about Arata that is very good that tells everything he had gone through during all the companies he went through and the tragic death of his superior who committed suicide because she was so reprimanded by her bosses and co-workers.
Plot: Well, the ReLife plot is wonderful and not to mention when you find out that Hishiro had already spent a year as a "guinea pig" and that she failed to try to change her life. But that's when with the help of Arata and the other characters she started to "socialize" more with people and that was one of the big problems she went through when she wasn't part of the "ReLIFE project". The romance she develops together with Arata is the cutest cute thing I've ever seen, but they both get into that "she's younger than me or he's more me". This drama between the two was sad and at the same time distressing to see that both would forget each other.
The ending of ReLIFE may seem a bit cliché, but it's a wonderful cliché and after so long you suffering along with the characters and seeing that they were together at the end is something super comforting and for all the difficulties they went through I think they deserved it. so much to be happy together. So, ReLIFE is a fantastic manga and for anyone interested in a work with an amazing narrative, I think you should take a look at this fantastic work.
