“My Mission is to Make Everyone Happy With My Singing.”
Vivy is an anime-original, brought to us by Studio Wit. The singular anime brought to us by wit this season, Spring 2021.

I originally didn’t intend to even watch Vivy at the start of the season, but a few clips of Vivy kicking some robot sparked some thirst for amazing choreography inside of me.
Many start Vivy with a might as well watch mindset. I'm 99% sure, all those people get blown away.
- Story / Plot
The anime is based in a timeline where robots, well, exist. They kind of assist the human world by, un-employing humans. Robots operate with missions or goals they have to try their best to achieve, no matter the circumstances.
The two main characters are two AI's, one of them being a more feminine songstress, called Diva and another, called Matsumoto.
img100%(https://i.vgy.me/yCdxCH.jpg)The show follows Diva and Matsumoto as they carry out
The Singularity Project. The plot, in my opinion, contains quite a bit of twists and turns that keep you thrilled throughout the episodes.
- Art / Audio
Vivy is a masterpiece when it comes to audio and art. It's followed by some astounding fight sequences, which consist of some neat choreography and dramatic idol music.img100%(https://i.vgy.me/2CVRlF.jpg)The art style is pretty decent all the time but in some particular parts, mostly some of the parts where stronger emotions are carried, it goes to a whole other level of detail and precision.
The main character being a songwriter and singer, the show obviously needs some good audio tracks, and man oh man does it fulfil that.
Vivy has a lot of scenes which make you want to keep watching more, the action aspect of it is just astonishing, the audio can be subjective but if you like pop, like me, you'll like it quite a lot. The show keeps you on the edge of your seat as Diva shows you her amazing talents in singing and fields otherwise.
I would recommend this show especially for people who enthuse over action anime because of reasons I have stated above, and for people who like a good audio track or idol anime. No cap, I think this is better than studio wits most recognizable works, attack on titan before season 4.
This is definitely one of my favorite anime and I gladly call it my first semi-idol anime.
Now for the most important question:
- Would I recommend this anime to anyone?
Well yes, and no. If you mainly just watch slice of life anime, I wouldn't be that confident recommending this to you, but if you watch a mix of them or just action anime, then I'd be a 100% confident. If you don't think you like anime with female protagonists, I still suggest you try watching this since Diva is like a robot, so, she's not a female. You might want to question your sexuality now.
