SING "YESTERDAY" FOR ME
Coming back to doing a review for this anime the one thing i still remember is how much potential and hopes i had for this anime. From the very start when the characters were introduced slowly i was thinking that this might be another interesting anime, at the time when this anime was out and releasing i was thinking oh wow this could actually be challenging Oregairus popularity... well haha nice one indeed looking at it back :D. After few episodes the first thought i had was that this might be a love triangle which could be interesting, i liked the background for both Shinako and Rikuo.. it seemed to me like a nice setup with Haru aswell. I think the anime went really steady and nicely for most of the part.... but then at a certain episode (cant remember right now which one but it was one from the second half for sure)they just started to rush things and burst everything out.... and i actually didnt mind this much... problem was that it ended really quickly... i feel like if they had more space and more episodes this could actually work... as it would be something i would say you dont see everyday. Well im just thinking should i add this to the dissapointment/wasted potential list alongside:

darling in the franxx and wonder egg priority: my priority Rikuo UozumiRikuo Uozumi for me a very interesting character with a lot of potential.... the anime first introduced him as a "i am failing in my life" guy i would say... a perfect starting block i would say for any possible development. One thing that i remember being pretty fun and annoying to watch was how dumb his decisions around Haru and Shinako were... being too scared to make a full move... rather making half ass decisions and later regretting them. I really wished to see Rikuo in more detail... it felt anime was building him up nicely, but once the rush faze of the anime came it felt like all over the place and hard to takeaway anything from that... maybe one thing? I guess he matured at the end.
Shinako MorinomeShinako had in my opinion a very weird character development... i think anime wanted to show here mainly how she is drowning herself in the past which was at first unknown to other characters except one or two (im talking about brother of Rou Hayakawa). By this "drowning herself in the past" she was able to not only suffer and hurt herself constantly in the present moment... it also made other characters like Rikuo, Rou and Haru suffer.. it was like a domino.
Haru NonakaHaru Nonaka was the character which was supposed to add the twist to the story i would say since she in highschool didnt talk with Rikuo. After some time passed in the anime Haru seemed as a nice girl but maybe too obsessive... i guess that might be something everyone will view differently. With that said i didnt like Haru at first... and not much at the end either xd... but i think the fact that at one point she decided to distance herself wasnt so bad idea... i think it was the change she needed if she wanted to move on. But lucky or lucky not for her Rikuo chased after her in the end.
Main takeawayI would say be honest, dont play some roleplaying if you didnt agree with others before :D.. otherwise there is a high chance of being hurt and hurting the other ones involved.
