Naruto is one of the first anime I've ever seen, and the definitely first out of the big 3. It is definitely not perfect. I'll be giving both the good and the bad of the show.

It is a 3/4 Naruto Review and 1/4 a Shippuden one.

Spoiler Alert for OG Naruto and Certain Shippuden parts. Shippuden spoilers are Said so Before the part

Cons :

- Bad Female Characters :

I can't even call the female characters average in terms of writing. And it gets pretty worse and is easily identifiable. Personally, I think Sakura was done good in the war arc (and in boruto) but, in the original naruto (which we are talking about), No. Just no. She's just there. And the other female charcters are done even worse. Hinata got the screen time but, she didn't do anything major. Tenten barely got screen time. The only good female character according to me was Temari and Tsunade to an extent.

- Fillers

After a point the fillers really get boring and bad. Especially during an important arc. It isn't as bad as in Shippuden, I know I'm being really nit picky here.

- Partners

(Shippuden Spoilers)
I know this is a more Shippuden problem, but still. Naruto and Hinata is a bad ship. Cause Naruto literally does nothing after Hinata tells she loves him during the pain arc. And during the War arc, he flirts with Sakura.

- Haku being a boy

Bruh. Best Girl is a boy. HOW????? He was easily one of the best looking.
HaHa anyway, This is it for the cons. Now, the Pros

Pros :

• Best Villians

Naruto hands down has the best villains. They have motivations which are believable and in lots of scenarios we feel bad for them. And that is needed cause Naruto usually reconciles with them, too, giving us the audience a sense of happiness. (Shippuden Spoilers) Also, the Akatsuki is hands down the best villain group to ever exist period.

- Excellent Start

Naruto had a very good start. It introduces us to a character you feel sad for and so, you have this emotional feeling towards him. Then, it's followed by the Demon-mist arc and then the Chunin exam arc.

- Arcs

While Shippuden had more quality of few good arcs, the original had quantity of good arcs. The (Above mentioned) Demon-mist arc, Chunin exams arc are really good. The Sasuke Retrieval arc, Itachi vs Naruto/Jiriya arc are all gold.

- Characters

At the end of the day Naruto is about building friendships and that is seen fully, So, if you want a big cast with little spotlight every now and there, this is your show.

- Fights

The big fights did not disappoint. Sasuke vs Naruto, Rock Lee vs Gaara, Sasuke Retrieval fights, Gaara vs Naruto, were all really, really good and had the emotions, too.

- Main Character

Naruto is a really good main character. You have seen his life. How horrible it was and yet, how he easily forgives and does not kill. It just amazes you and feels this emotion towars the character.

- Soundtracks

Sountracks in the Naruto Saga are really, really good and have this vibe to them.
