Inuyasha is a show which was released at the year 2000
I watched the show 20 years later at the year 2020 (the year in which I started watching anime).
Inuyasha is a show about a girl named Kagome who accidentally fell into a well which took her several years (I don't remember the number of years...) to the past.
The well was connected to feudal Japan in a time when demons existed.
After this, the story is all about Kagome and a Dog Demon called 'Inuyasha' along with a few friends.
A friend of mine told me that Inuyasha is good, so I added Inuyasha to my list.
I started watching Inuyasha after I completed some anime like Naruto, Fairy Tail, My Hero academia, Hunter x Hunter(1999) etc.
I had high hopes for Inuyasha when I started watching it...
The first 20 episodes were so good. It introduced many characters like Kagome, Inuyasha, Shippo and Miroku and the main villain Naraku and the show also gave a gist about the incident between Kikyo and Inuyasha.
After the first 20 episodes the show seemed to become a bit boring...
The same story of all the characters chasing Naraku the invincible demon and always losing shards of the sacred jewels to Naraku.
I started hating the show when I was around the 60th episode...
I almost died watching the show...
I was on the verge of starting to hate anime...
The second season was a bit better than the first season but it was boring too
I wasted a lot of time watching Inuyasha...
I really don't want to offend Inuyasha lovers
Maybe I did not like the show because, I watched some very great anime before watching this.
Also 167 episodes was tooo much of episodes for a very short storyline to watch.
Watching 1 episode was like watching 10.
The whole storyline is about a bunch of demon slayers chasing one demon again and again and again...
The most irritating part were the fillers...
The fillers were an eyesore...
I did not drop the show because I was in an expectation for all the arcs that 'the show would be better after this arc'
But my expectation remained an expectation.
People also say that the manga goes more deep into the love story between Inuyasha and Kagome which the anime did not give much importance to at least in my opinion
Many people have praised Inuyasha and have enjoyed the show to the fullest but I really didn't like the show.
Everyone(mostly) who had watched this show only praised it, but according to me the show was bad.
At last, I would say that people who are reading this review who are the fans of this show please don't get offended I have just expressed my opinion here and for the people who decide to see the show after reading the reviews please don't waste your time there are better shows out there which you may really enjoy.
