So, where do I start... The Gokushufudou anime is amazing.
That's right, i said the Gokushufudou anime is amazing. Why's that? Well that's why I'm writing this. Keep reading (and watching a ton of GIF's).

I'll start by saying that Gokushufudou is a MOTION COMIC, NOT AN ANIME. Kousoke Oono (the mangaka) wanted it to be like this and I think he made a good choice. Netflix fucked up (as always) and marketed it as an full-on anime, which it isn't. And as much as I wanted it to be a real anime, you gotta admit that it was fantastic in its motion comic form. The animation combines so well with the style of humor of the manga. I have to admit, there are some lazy sketches, and the animation is not perfect but it's fantastic. That style of animation has a focus on the art and I love it. I also think that this style of animation is good for the show because it makes it unique. Now that I told you why the animation is great, let's talk about the other stuff. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll talk about the voice acting now. Kenjiro Tsuda is a very good VA and he couldn't be any more perfect for this role. Tatsu is perfect for Kenjiro Tsuda and it's my favorite role of him until now. I don't think I can say any more about this, but the voice acting alone is a reason to watch this as it is very very good. Now onto the plot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Its source material is very good. It is a weird but funny manga. The manga is absolutely stupid but i love it. The concept is fantastic. I mean, a Yakuza who is a house~~wife~~ husband! How cool is that? Very cool. I want this review to be on the top ones, because there are only reviews saying the show is mediocre, when it's actually pretty good. People don't understand how the author wanted the anime to be like this, he didn't want it to be an anime, he wanted it to be a motion comic.
