Tokyo Revengers is one of the best new-gen anime.

Cons :

• A Weird or Average Start?
So, before you judge me hear me out. I can't really put my finger on it but, the start, up
to maybe the 2nd or 3rd episode the anime was above average, not excellent, above
average. Of course this is just a personal opinion. Of course once Mikey comes it's really,
really good (Around 3-4 episodes in)

THE BELOW 2 POINTS ARE PROBLEMS OTHER PEOPLE HAVE SAID, I PERSONALLY
DO NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THESE MENTIONED POINTS.

• Main Character
Many people complain about Takemichy being a bad mc. I personally like him a lot. I
have emphasised more on this topic in the pros
.
• Animation
Manga readers have been saying the animation sucks. I’ve read the manga. The
animation is pretty good according to me. But, Manga art > Anime most of the times.

Pros :

• Main Character

Ok, so let me explain. I said so in my Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) review but, I
like my anime when it's down to Earth, at least in it's verse. If you keep using the power
of friendship or plot armor we don't get this sense of fear or excitement because we
know the characters will eventually win. So, that's why I think Takemichy is a good
character. He's not super strong or wins all of his fights. This is a story of a loser coming
up.

• Characters
The side characters are all amazing. Mikey, Draken, Baji, Chifuyu, etc. are all really good
and amazing characters. As I explained earlier, Takemichy, I like too. The characters are
really well written so far.

• Gangs
I really like animes where it's different groups verses other groups. Examples : One Piece,
The Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Black Clover, etc. Tokyo Revengers does this
gang vs gang set-up really good. The last arc was superb with the clans clashing. So, if
you like gangs, you'll like this anime.

• Fights
I like the fights in this anime. They aren't using superpowers or anything but, at the
same time, it's not boring either. Especially the Draken and Takemichy team-up was
gold.

• Not much censoring?
I'm glad they aren't censoring the gory scenes that much. Cause I've seen anime where
the guys head would be chopped off but, it'll be shown in shadow or a hand will get cut
off but, they'll show a zoom in on the characters face. The bloody scenes aren't very
gory but, they seem believable.

• Good Backstory Narration.
Usually we get this flashbacks out of no-where. But, in this anime it's done good.
Especially the plot-driving backstory. I liked the idea of Baji telling Takemichy and it fits
cause it's possible to tell, not like some evil master plan. And it fits with the
foreshadowing as well.

• Drip
Ok, bruh. The Tokyo Manji Gang dress is Awesome. Like really, really good. The headless
angels symbol is really good with their clothes. These are all we've been introduced to
so far.

• Opening
The opening is so good. I've listened to it on repeat for so long. I recommend listening
to the song on YouTube cause they've cut some parts off in the opening to save time.
One of my Favourite new-generation openings.
