Nan Hao Shang Feng is an exemplary school comedy that I've seen in recent times. Being able to present sometimes relatable, or at the very minimal, realistic, interactions between the two main characters themselves in such a way that is not only immaculate but also extremely funny, delivering the joke perfectly. Every. Single. Time. It is truly unbelievable that such a thing could even exist.
As a whole, there isn't honestly a lot to go on about with Nan Hao Shang Feng other than the aforementioned statement of what it boils down to. Each individual chapter is way too simplistic, which in itself is no problem at all (it actually benefits). It may come across as an issue to some, but it serves well in the grand scheme of things in this up and down world of fast-paced cuts of high school life. I do suppose nothing lasts so long anyway, even worse if the joke did. That only happens if something truly major goes down, which is rare for a real situation and is not seen in this webcomic either. Another thing I can really talk about is the chapter content, which again, is nothing out of the ordinary relative to average high school life. It is all just amplified in the hilariously real atmosphere the world has to give.
It brings me nicely to the execution I should say more about. In comedy, there is this tendency to use jokes and repeat the execution, process, point, and humour across, reiterating to the point of it being "ok yeah that was good", but nothing truly meaningfully funny. You have comedies where "haha he fell over and touched her boobs, he's going to get punched in the face now" completely saturate an entire anime to the point of you literally knowing what will happen next. Sure, I would say that it can still be funny (I still find them funny at times), nothing is inherently unfunny, but that kind of consistency, be it in a world that doesn't even have such logic in a (hypothetical) reality, literally ends up being the equivalent of fried bread. This is partly what makes Konosuba a really good comedy, it just takes the piss out of isekai with an honest cast of characters and setting. Nan Hao Shang Feng's realism with a direction that makes sense and is more honest to its own world really makes the webcomic only expel high-quality funny moments that you can read nonstop and still find funny.
The art is a huge help in this webcomic and might be a reason for why it is so good. Sure, the entire thing is scroll down for more with panels taking most of the width on the screen, but with detailed moments, be it blur/dash effects to show ungodly speed, or dynamic shots to emphasise the mood, you place yourself in an environment where really anything can happen and it still be the funniest thing you've seen since Pickle Rick. Here are a few such moments:

I should say that the character design in themselves aren't bad at all, it probably is more fitting in some aspects of making this more believable (whilst concurrently not, I suppose).
One last thing I want to touch on before I leave is the ho-yay factor. Sometimes that feeling does come across, and honestly, at least for me, it doesn't harm this in the slightest. It makes things a little more interesting if in all honesty. Only wanted to go on about this for new people getting into this webcomic, it is something that I don't know if such comes up a lot for chinese comics, but considering how people sometimes impose that one story in a medium must mean all is the same (I mean look at the negative stigmas of anime non-watchers have), I thought I'd touch on it to say that it isn't even bad here (probably even negligible), and other comics may not be the same, although I haven't read much manhua to be fair.
I was supposed to write a review for this long ago but never did because I apparently never have time to do stuff like this anymore :(, but I got there in the end, so that is cool I guess. Plus there are no reviews for this already, which is odd to me since this is very popular. Guess I will be the first then lol.
All in all, this is something you really want to read and I'd recommend it for people who want to go a bit diverse with a bit of manhua. In saying this, however, this is one of the few titles that are actually really good so once you take this, I honestly have no clue what is left for you. But hey, at least you would have seen something amazing that isn't just manga I guess.
I'd also highly recommend the following for the reasons:
