We Never Learn follows the life of a poor student who is chasing for the vip recommendation named Nariyuki yuiga who is forced to tutor 2 (later 3) geniuses. I remember catching up to this series when the furuhashi route was still going on and I really enjoyed it. Now that I have reread it again, I found out many things I liked while also many things that I didn't. So today I want to share my thoughts on this series.
The Main Girls:

We never learn consists of 5 unique girls. My thoughts for them before the ending were that Furuhashi was the most well written character in this manga. Her character about wanting to be supportive to her friends but loving the same guy as them later on was interesting to see. Mafuya's contradiction towards the girl's goals at first to accepting them for their choice at the end was good. Rizu arc was interesting. I really like how she became more honest after her arc. Asumi was technically the least focused on the manga so I thought her arc was not that well done compared to the others. Uruka wasn't developed much throughout the story and we only got to see more of her through flashbacks which I disliked.
Humour:

The humour can be a hit or miss. While the jokes aren't really that unique and most of it just boils down to fanservice and flat jokes. The way it's done can make the scene good. I really liked seeing the different expressions of character's. They even made average jokes kinda funny because of it.
Routes:

We Never Learn has different routes with varying quality. So l wanna look at them and talk about the things I liked and the things I didn't.
Uruka:

Uruka route was the 1st and it was one of the weakest imo. As it was the first route we had more time to develop and focus on why the main character would fall in love with uruka but instead we got a flashback on why she is important to him. Which makes me wonder what was the point of all these 100 chapter's when the deciding factor was a flashback to when she helped him early on in the story. Yes the alternative endings have flashbacks too but they are just alternative endings. They had 9 ch to develop and end a relationship. This had many.
Rizu:

Can you even call it the rizu route? It was more of a sawaka arc ft rizu. This arc would have been fine as a standalone arc but when you consider THIS is supposed to be a rizu route we have a problem. While Sawaka reuniting with her family was sweet, this is still the worst "route" for me.
Furuhashi:

This felt like the most natural route to me. Almost everything was well done. It focused heavily on her arc in the 1st route and concluded it in a great manner.
Asumi:

This was the best route in the manga imo. The story was well written and it felt more mature compared to the previous routes. I liked the drama and her career path as a doctor was heavily focused on.
Mafuya:

This route was almost as good as Asumi and Furuhashi too but those routes were solid from start to finish while I felt like this only started to pick up after 2-3 chapters. Mafuya learning to accept her love for Nariyuki was great to see.
Conclusion:
Overall, I enjoyed my time rereading We Never Learn. Is it one of the greatest harem ever put to page? Not really but it was still very fun to go through it again.
