(I'll talk a little bit about both parts, but focusing on part 2)
Some spoilers

What if you had another chance?
Restart your life in another world?
Rudeus in his past life was a 34-year-old NEET who remained reclusive in his room after high school events. And we see how it affects him in this new life. Throughout history we are following his change, trying to change in relation to his past life.
As well as the bonds he forms, not only with his parents, but also with Roxy becoming a tutor, the friendship with Sylphie and especially the relationship with Eris, how he was breaking the barriers and allowing these bonds.

Meet and help Ruijerd, ensure he and Eris return home safely, the people they've met during this journey, and the bonds he's formed in every place he's been. All showing an evolution of Rudeus himself, not forgetting how Eris was also maturing compared to the first time she appears. For me, it was very interesting to follow Rudeus' journey, in ours, second chances depend a lot on our situation, but if you have a second chance, don't let it pass.
Even though many he did were because of the Man God, it is undeniable that it was Rudeus' attitudes that helped many people a lot. When Ruijerd thanks Rudeus for helping, even though it was an instruction from Man God, it was du Rudeus' ideas that helped Ruijerd.
Eris is also a very interesting character, I really like how she matures during the work, both when they were still studying at home, but especially after going to the Demon Continent.
Rudeus' reunion with Paul and the shock he has when he realizes what happened, how it impacted him and the reconciliation between father and son, many emotions and questions about this short excerpt, I believe that for us viewers, it is easy to judge the Rudeus for not having thought that other people were also affected, but I know that many would also not think of this possibility, especially while you want to ensure a safe return.I believe the ending was an excellent way to end the season, especially the last episode, which really sends this message about moving forward, second chances and not repeating the past, the relationship he had with his parents in his previous life, and how in this one he must save his mother, and protect his new family.

For me, that's something I look forward to in an Isekai, where your past life really matters in history. Isekai's concept is very interesting, but it's a shame that many follow the standard formula. I heard the story of Mushoku being the father of the modern isekai, there were isekais before Mushoku Tensei, but the formula used by the moderns is very inspired by him, I don't know how real it is, as it's a big discussion. But it's a shame that many follow the same recipe. (I like someone who watches a lot of them, they're fun, but I miss something different.)
