Blue Period tells us the story of a boy, Yatora Yaguchi, an excellent student, who feels empty despite being so smart and having such good grades. All that changes when he discovers his new passion, art. A passion that makes him truly happy and amuses him in the process. However, Yaguchi will face a series of experiences and challenges that he could not imagine, which end up affecting even his health.

Another aspect that Blue Period shows is that in the world there are many people who like and love art, however only very few are born with the gift of being able to represent what they have in their mind without much effort, as is the case with Takahashi Yotasuke, Yaguchi's partner, however, that does not prevent those who do not have the gift from reaching the top, thanks to their efforts. And how gratifying it is when you finally achieve your goal, when you finally manage to capture your feelings perfectly on that sheet of paper or canvas that was previously empty, and how happy and proud you feel when others manage to see and understand the work that you you have created.

And finally I will say that a lesson I take from Blue Period is that it is never too late to choose what you are really passionate about. Yaguchi started much later than his companions, however, it was what really made him happy and he wanted to bet on it; and with a lot of effort and patience he managed to achieve his goal.In our case, it may be that over time we discover our passion and believe that it is too late to learn to develop it, but it is not like that, you can learn to do what you really like whenever you want, because that will probably help you clear your mind, to be happy and enjoy a hobby you didn't know you were so good at.

For all this, I think that Blue Period tells a very beautiful story full of effort and overcoming to achieve a goal that was not known from the beginning and that later seems unattainable.
The form of development of this anime is very successful, since it shows a thread of overcoming despite the different potholes that the protagonist finds along the way and the different challenges that he must overcome. I think it maintains a very good balance between problems and solutions.
That's why I think it's worth watching.
