Quick Resume of the Show:
Jashin-chan, the MC, is a half-snake demon with a rather strong personality trying to flee away from earth. To go back home, her plan is simple, she needs to kill her summoner, Yurine Hanazono, a formidable opponent countering all of Jashin's mastermind plans. To do so what's best than a peaceful cohabitation between the two girls? Going back to hell? Ehhh ?? What for? Let us enjoy the show a bit longer and focus on the lives of Jashin and friends!
A Great Second season:
In my opinion, the second season surpasses by far its prequel. Why though ? The character development, and the story surrounding it.
First of all, concerning character development, we of course find back the mesmerizing relationship between Yurine and her devilish roommate, the "gothic lolita" like girl often resorting to violence to teach our cute MC "common sense".
But, what really pleased me is the further development of the late coming characters, such as the angel Poporon and the demon Persephone II.
And besides all of that, the icing on the cake is that we also get more backgrounds for all the main cast!So why am I so ecstatic about it? It's only because, while it is true that the main duo seems to carry all the show, now I really feel like all the characters bring something really unique with them. And this my friends, is why I appreciate this show.

The dark-themed jokes are still as rich and refreshing as it already was, with more references that we may or may not have and a whole lot of new emotions to share !! But I guess if you are here reading this little verse, you already are attached to the special esthetic of Dropkick on my Devil ! And, don't be disappointed, dropkicks there will be, with its unspoken consequences.
On the animation part, having watched both seasons in a "rush", I can assure you that compared to the first half of the show, the animation isn't lacking, the overall style remains the same, sweets chibis in a colorful environment. And yes it's still is superior to a lot of other anime in the genre.
Even if I personally preferred the op of the previous season, the music still does the job and frankly works well with each situation depicted by the show !
Overall:
I, for myself, firmly believe that this season is clearly an upgrade in "all" possibles ways of the first one. If you really enjoyed the dark and quite bloody jokes of the previous production, blended in a shiny palette of colors, then don't wait any longer, once you have some time grab your best blanket and udon, and give it another try ! Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did ! Thanks for reading !
Ps: As I am now, I will stay put and happily wait for a third season.
