If you think Leadale was average this one is... another average one. Honestly it's worse than average. This one felt like the studio didn't care in animation or they don't have the experience to make something decent, especially when it comes to 3DCG.
So protag-kun named Danblf is one of the most powerful summoners in the game called Ark Earth ~~Survival~~ ~~Evolved~~ ~~Ascended~~ Online. He fell asleep and woke up 30 years later. Apparently he screwed around the character creator and turned himself into a loli. He has to disguise give himself another name which is Mira. Uh yeah, I don't know how that happened.
To be honest, the "game" and even the "Isekai" part could have been scrapped without affecting the plot that much. The plot doesn't really go anywhere till the last 2 episodes and that part felt hastily slapped together because they need some epic finale. In-between the first and last episodes are filled with fetch questing that felt so predictable after episode 4 or 5. The only good thing I could say about it is variety of stuff she goes to. The ending left the door open for a season 2 but I really do not care about this if the production quality doesn't increase substantially by then.
The biggest flaw this has is the visuals. At best, I could say below average and the very first episode is the worst offender in this part.
Its flaws are numerous such as terrifically bad pacing and overused trash tier CG. It sets up the world hastily then there's this fight with CGI armies and finally the last couple of minutes felt like the show already ran out of budget and did some sort of montage that makes The Promised Neverland S2's ending proud.
The saving grace of this is that succeeding episodes fare better to be nearly on par with Leadale. The bad CG crops up though not as numerous as in the first episode though it gets predictable on how the episodes are structured. If Studio A-Cat attempted to show-off their skills at CG in that episode. It backfired, hard. The more traditional 2D art does fare much better because it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb though it is subpar. Certain scenes in some episodes should have been animated to some degree but is a still image for some reason.
The music is also okay. I would say the first and last episode had an out of place song playing in an action scene.
This adaptation is bad and could be definitely better. Studio A-Cat either mismanaged this production badly or have little experience. The first episode alone have turned off many people from watching. Later episodes fare better but at best they are average. I don't recommend watching this. Get the manga or light novel if you're interested in this world. If they sorted out the visuals, animation, the first episode, the pacing, and maybe the characters it could have been maybe a 6 or 7 but what came out only deserves at best a 4.
