Slight spoiler warning these reviews are mostly my opinion blah blah you should know how reviews work if you are reading this.
I enjoyed every second of this show. This particular anime made history for me as it is the first and only anime I put on my favorites list as a was watching it. The reasons why will become apparent as this review goes on.
Let's start out with one of the biggest positives I have for Jujutsu Kaisen.
The animation in this anime is probably the best I have ever seen across this entire medium and that says a lot given the amount of talent that animation takes (I certainly could never do it). The animation goes so far in that it animates things it doesn't really have to in the environment around it (A point that is partly a quote/pitch a friend gave to me when the recommended the show to me that I entirely agree with.) The art style is flashy and intense also while fitting more calm environments and worldbuilding just as well. This is by far the best element in the show and one that is and will be unmatched for some time.
The characters all also have a purpose and are all used perfectly/well written.
I've seen arguments where the characters are bland or uninspired but most of this opposition I feel comes from a crowd that is particularly frustrated with Shounens and to that I say to each their own.
My favorite characters have to be Itadori and Mahito although that is a hard choice given the light and personality each character develops overtime. Mahito is a powerful villain and one who was hyped up plenty in the build which makes me excited for him in season 2 (this was written in April 2022 for those viewing in the future.)
The only character I don't like all that much is Todo as he can been a bit selfish and annoying. However the bond between him and Itadori make him a bit more tolerable and even more so seeing him fight.
__The action in this anime is just top notch.

No fight in particular strikes me as being mediocre or bad. The powers that each character possess have their own checks and balances that are very reasonable and not contrived on the fly like in a lot of Shounens. The way each individual character uses the techniques they have adds to the drama of the combat and always keeps you on your toes and guessing which you very rarely see in Shounens anymore.
The Story when it picks up does not stop until the very end and ends on a high note.
However I will say that watching those first few episodes over again with people in watch parties or anywhere else will be painful because they are the closest thing to a "Stereotypical Shounen" that you get.
While I see some people saying the show isn't doing anything new and agree with that point. It presents it in a way that makes everything look and feel fantastic. This is a must watch and it not for the first few episodes I'd give it a 99(the highest score I will give any show)
A 95 or 9.5 is still damn good and most shows would kill for this.
